Its advice was to have a caravan serviced every year to keep it running efficiently and correctly, with prompt repairs alongside, so that owners were never off the road for long. Damp testing was part of the service, and a pre-purchase inspection, with a CRiS check for caravans that might have been in an accident, helped buyers make sure a van had no damp.
The other services ran from habitation servicing and gas safety tests with carbon monoxide and combustion analysis to ALDE heating servicing, fitting motor movers and solar panels, and servicing and repairing trailers, from horse trailers to tipping trailers. Earlier versions of the site also offered towbar fitting, help with towing electrics, and reversing cameras and sensors.
